It’s a no-go: Leeds bid for Lafferty looks scuppered


Leeds United’s proposed loan move for Kyle Lafferty appears to have been scuppered.
On Friday, Norwich City manager Alex Neil said that there will be no more departures from Carrow Road ahead of the winter window.
“No other players will be leaving the club on loan now until January at the earliest,” he said.

Hide AdLeeds head coach Steve Evans has been open about his interest in Lafferty in recent weeks. On Thursday, he said: “He’s done terrifically well for Northern Ireland and I have placed a call in to Alex Neil to see what the situation is.
“Kyle needs to be playing.”
