The latest on Leeds United and those links to Hull City's Jarrod Bowen and Watford's Andre Gray

Jarrod Bowen is not a player Leeds United are currently pursuing in their attempt to strengthen Marcelo Bielsa's attack, the YEP understands.

A national newspaper has suggested the Whites are set to make a bid for the free-scoring winger, who has 17 goals from 29 appearances this season.

The 23-year-old is a wanted man, but sources say there is nothing in the speculation that United are presently preparing a bid.

Hull Live reported yesterday that another club has had their proposal for a loan to buy deal knocked back by the Tigers, who are determined to keep their dangerman.

Meanwhile Andre Gray, another high profile forward to be linked with the Whites this month, is still part of Watford's plans according to boss Nigel Pearson.

“I spoke with Andre and he is very much a part of what we are trying to do here," said the Hornets' boss.

“I don’t have any message for anybody but us. It is more for our own players and that is I am pretty happy with what we already have.

“I think I have already said over the last week or so that if we add to the squad it will be to strengthen it."

Leeds' number one target in the transfer window has been Southampton's Che Adams, another player who will be staying put if manager Ralf Hasenhuttl is to be believed.

Bielsa said earlier today that Leeds will only sign a forward if he is the right player for the club and the deal can be done within financial fairplay regulations.
