The Whites travel to face the Seagulls on the south coast in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

United will be without club captain Liam Cooper as he serves the final game of a three-match ban for a straight red card at Manchester City.

Cooper features in the training drills amid Marcelo Bielsa's preparation for this weekend's clash as does forward and record signing Rodrigo.

The former Valencia man has been absent in recent weeks due to a persistent muscular problem.

Bielsa, though, confirmed during his pre-match press conference that he would return to his squad for the clash with the Seagulls.

Star winger Raphinha was missing from the training video - as expected - due to an ongoing thigh injury picked up at the Etihad stadium - but fellow wide man Costa was a notable absence.

United's boss wouldn't be drawn on whether the winger would play against Graham Potter's men during his media duties on Thursday and also refused to confirm if Ian Poveda was ready to start in his place if he was ruled out.

Poveda has stepped off the bench as a wing option in recent weeks and would be in line for his first Premier League start should Costa not be fit and available for selection.

The 27-year-old limped off against Manchester United last week after being wrestled to the ground by Red Devils defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
