Bielsa gave United's players a day off for a Festive celebration due to the lack of opportunity presented by the upcoming fixture list over Christmas and new year.

Phillips suffered a small cut after grazing his eye on a wall but was checked out by Whites staff and has trained as normal ahead of United's next Premier League assignment at Brighton.
