Jose Mourinho on Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane impact in win over 'difficult' Leeds United

They took a 2-0 lead into half-time and secured the three points five minutes after the break, but had to do a lot of defending in the final stages as Leeds continued to attack, albeit wastefully.
"The three points are very important," said Mourinho.
"I think we understood how well they could hurt us and how we could hurt them. In that aspect I am happy but I still think we can and have to do better."
What pleased him more was the win, which came at a good time for Spurs.
"We had good opportunities to score and not just from the traditional Sonny and Kane," he said.
"We had good scoring opportunities, good shooting positions and that pleases me also because I want the team to play with this kind of dynamic. The result is important. We didn't play the last match, the run of results in the last few weeks was not good so we needed this three points.
"When we played the people who are considered the top six people say easier games are coming but I of course don't believe it. Leeds are difficult and Aston Villa is my favourite team in the Premier League at the moment. I enjoy watching them, they have good players and very well coached."
Mourinho's strike partnership did have a big say in the result, Kane scoring the opener from the spot and Son getting on the end of a Kane cross to beat Illan Meslier and make it 2-0.
Their movement and energy was important, he felt, against Leeds.
"They are very good players, they play together for many years," he said.
"That plus the way we want them to interact brings goals. I want more goals, especially more goals from other players but today the second goal is great and is also great because it was something we spoke about against a team that defends the way Leeds does. It's very important to have mobility.
"To have a striker on the right wing and a winger scoring on the front post pleases us from a strategic point of view."
