Speaking to LUTV, Piroe declared that he usually scores at least 20 goals a season and that he was clearly aiming to reach that tally as he explained his intent to be as “deadly” as possible around the bench.
The 25-year-old proved exactly that at the weekend as his strike put the gloss on a fourth win of the new season for Leeds who now face two tough looking away games at Tuesday night’s hosts Norwich and Friday evening’s opponents Sunderland.

Hide AdPiroe, though, has vowed that Leeds will look to attack both teams, declaring that United’s aim will remain the same irrespective of the opposition.
"Regardless of who we play, we always want to win games," said the Dutch forward, asked about the approach and mindset for this week's two away games.
"We will be the same as Saturday, offensive minded but also sharp on keeping the zero again so we can win again.

“Before the game (against Coventry) I said to the guys, ‘a clean sheet wins us the game’ especially in the form that we are in, the form that I am in myself. We know that we will score goals and if we just keep a clean sheet it will help us even more."
Asked about strikers having personal goal tally targets and if he could share his, Piroe smiled: "Yes, I have set it from the start of the season.

Pressed on what went through his mind as each chance presented itself, Piroe explained: “First of all, before I get the ball, I try to feel and assess how much time I would probably have so if I have to take one touch or if I have to finish directly.
“Then it's just about where is the ball coming from and where is the space in the goal. As much time as I get, I try to be as deadly as possible."
