From a lovely move in the 75th minute, Patrick Bamford was played in by Jamie Shackleton and then sent to ground by a combination of Gunners duo Gabriel and Cedric Soares closing him out for the ball.
Referee Stuart Attwell waved away United's appeals for a spot kick and VAR did not highlight the incident as a potential penalty.

The duo assessed the game as Sky Sports guests during coverage on Super Sunday and Souness said of Leeds: "We were saying if they can get another goal it will be a really, really exciting end to the game and I actually think it was a foul on Bamford.
"It's hard because Arsenal were so good in the first half.
"Leeds were the best team in the second half and big decisions have gone against them I think because I definitely think Bamford's was a penalty.
"I think he had a great shout and apart from anything else it was a great move - slick passing, one touch, brilliant.

"I'm sorry but he's sandwiched between two players."
Hasselbaink added: "Everywhere on the pitch, if this happens, it's a free-kick so why is not a penalty? Simple as that."
