"For me it represents English football in its purest form, it allows you to linger with the clubs with the history in England. That's why I am very happy to be in this competition. The sole fact that we have to analyse the opponent that we are going to face, it allows you to take a look into League Two for example and the stadiums and the styles of plays so this is very good and of course the players at this level."

62 places between the two sides - on Crawley...

"It is a team that responds to a direct approach, and defensive organisation is also traditional. They have two interior midfielders with a creativeness and they have forwards and wingers with the capacity to unbalance a team."

Has Covid affected you picking a team yet?

"You know very well that I am not allowed to tell you if this is the case so I would ask you to avoid please asking questions where you may be able to be intuitive and read between the lines so I would ask if you don't ask these questions please. It's not that I don't want to answer you but when I give you an evasive answer to adhere to what I have been asked to do you may start to investigate something that shouldn't be found out because it is a rule."

Will there be changes to the side and any debuts?

"It was easier when I just named the XI, let me think a little bit....No there won't be any players that haven't played before."

Would you be in favour of a circuit breaker due to covid - Sam Allardyce concerned for health

"I understand the comment that Sam Allardyce made, it's an absolutely logical thought, it's a thought that gives consciousness to the problem that we are going through. With regards to the question about the circuit breaker I think that those who are in charge, the authorities of the competition and the government I don't think they would take any risks with a small population of the country and in this case professional football - it is a small segment but a privileged one and everyone who has this problem lives it individually regardless of that segment you belong to. But I trust that the decisions that are being made are being taken with consideration."

On Roberts - would you be prepared to let him go on loan or permanent or is he a big part of your plans?

"Tyler has always been in my plans, I value him in the football point of view and also in the human aspect and he has an important role inside our team.

"It is true that he is having difficulties to manage to be able to have continuity but for me he is player who is full of resources and who is very important for us."
