Ian Poveda believes there is 'no limit' to what Leeds United can achieve this season as Marcelo Bielsa's side continue to attack the Premier League with abandon.

The Whites have acquired seven points from their opening four games of the top flight campaign by sticking to their head coach's attacking principles.

United have received acclaim for the way in which they have brought a breath of fresh air to England's elite following promotion from the Championship last term.

Leeds' latest showing saw them claim a valuable point against Manchester City at Elland Road last weekend.

The draw with Pep Guardiola's outfit was preceded by victories over Fulham and Sheffield United after a thrilling opening day defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

Fans have differing opinions over what success would look like amid United's first Premier League campaign for 16 seasons.

Some have claimed avoiding relegation is the ultimate goal while others have been looking further up the table towards the top half.

Leeds winger Poveda, though, admits that the players inside the LS11 camp are focused on each game and will see where it takes them.

"For us there is no limit to what we can achieve. We're looking at every game as they come," Poveda said with confidence.

"We're trying to aim for the three points each time. We didn't come here to draw (on Saturday). It's obviously good because Man City are a great team.

"They're fantastic, one of the best in the world. So to get a point off them is amazing but we're looking at it going into every game to try and win it.

"I'm really happy to be out there. I feel like my hard work is finally paying off. I've got to keep pushing, there's a lot more to give."

Asked about the points tally accrued ahead of the current international break, he added: "It's not too bad.

"I feel like over the international break we've just got to get our heads down and recover a bit to come back for a fresh start and with a bang."
