'I smell an upset' - Leeds United fans react to team news vs Manchester City

Marcelo Bielsa has made just one change to his starting XI ahead of Leeds United’s clash with league leaders Manchester City on Saturday – and fans have been quick to react on social media.

The Whites go into the weekend looking to move into the top half of the Premier League, and would do so if they could replicate or better their 1-1 draw with Pep Guardiola’s men from October of last year.

Record signing Rodrigo scored Leeds’ crucial goal in that game, cancelling out a Raheem Sterling opener.

Since then, City have been in near irresistible form, and are currently 14 points clear at the top of the table with seven games left to play.

With that in mind, Bielsa has stuck with a largely similar side to the one that beat Sheffield United last time out.

Helder Costa comes into the XI, with Jack Harrison ineligible to face his parent club.

The other major talking point sees Rodrigo miss out on the squad entirely due to injury.

Here are some of the best reactions from fans on social media:

@Richaarrd401 tweeted: “What’s happened to Rodrigo?”

@danfawcett1 tweeted: “Time to look at selling Rodrigo for me. He's 30, making little impact and these muscle pulls are getting tiresome. He's our record signing we can't just write off £28m we need to get something back”.

@cheesecakeblai1 tweeted: “Apart from Alioski, nearly perfect”

@OohahhBerardi tweeted: “Probably our strongest lineup (sans Harrison) and bench that we've had all season.”
