How can I access Elland Road on FIFA 21? Is it available in career mode? Here's all you need to know

After months of waiting and disappointment, the latest update to FIFA 21 went live on Wednesday morning – bringing the Whites’ spiritual home into the popular EA Sports game.

How can I access Elland Road on FIFA21?

You’ll need to download the latest Title Update on your consoles.

To play at Elland Road on FIFA21, select kick-off on the Play page, pick your teams and go along to game settings.

Then, scroll down to the stadium option until you find Elland Road.

Can I use Elland Road in career mode?

Sadly, there’s no hiding from the Eastpoint Arena just yet.

Unfortunately, you’re unable to set Leeds’ default stadium to Elland Road when you go into settings, customise and edit teams.

Ultimately, this means there is no spot for Elland Road in career mode for the time being.

It seems Elland Road is only available on kick-off mode currently. Hopefully, that will change soon.

What consoles is Elland Road available on?

Elland Road is available on ALL consoles – including the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

You just simply need to install the Title Update before entering the game.

Why was Elland Road initially missing from FIFA 21?

EA Sports developers announced last year that they were unable to create Elland Road in time for FIFA 21’s release in October 2020.

However, an EA spokesperson later confirmed it was committed to resolving the issue in a future update.

A short statement read: "While the later-than-planned end to the 2019/20 season meant we weren't able to recreate Elland Road in an EA Sports Fifa game for the first time ever in time for the launch of Fifa 21, we are committed to giving fans the chance to play in all 20 Premier League stadiums and will provide more news on post-launch updates in the future."
