Harry Redknapp makes confident Leeds United prediction after Whites' business in transfer window

HARRY Redknapp expects Leeds United to now establish themselves as a Premier League force with the experienced former manager insisting there is no danger of the Whites going back down.

Redknapp sat in the Sky Sports News studios as Leeds completed a busy international transfer window by announcing the signing Brazilian winger Raphinha from Rennes for £17m half an hour before Monday night's 11pm deadline.

Raphinha became the 13th signing of a very busy summer which has also seen United sign Spanish internationals Rodrigo and Diego Llorente plus German international Robin Koch with former loanees Helder Costa and Illan Meslier sealing permanent deals.

Leeds have already taken seven points from their first four games despite being faced with clashes against Liverpool and Manchester City and Redknapp is predicting a very bright future for Marcelo Bielsa's Whites.

"Very good, very good," said Redknapp, asked about United's summer on Sky Sports News.

"There's no danger of them going back down.

"I think they are going to establish themselves now as a Premier League team - great support, big club, I don't see them being in any relegation scrap this year at all.

"I think they are going to do very well.”
