Whites boss Daniel Farke made six changes to his side and rested star man Crysencio Summerville but still named a strong team. Plymouth were twice saved by the woodwork in the 13th minute as Georginio Rutter played in Jaidon Anthony whose shot came back off the post and Willy Gnonto's attempt on the follow-up was deflected onto the crossbar.
Anthony then fired Leeds ahead with a terrific goal just after the half-hour mark but Plymouth equalised as Adam Randell finished off a counter in the 73rd minute.
Graham Smyth, the YEP’s chief football writer, hands out the scores from a stalemate which will mean another long trip to Plymouth for a fourth round replay.

6 - Straight into the action, attempted to get Leeds on the front foot, dug out a nice cross on the byline again. Photo: George Wood

14. Patrick Bamford (sub)
6 - Gave Leeds a focal point and more presence up top and was unlucky not to score with his first touch. Missed a late flick when he and Joseph were in the same space. Photo: George Wood

N/A - Unable to make himself the hero. Tried to get into the game, link up and cause problems but it was difficult with Plymouth defending in such numbers. Photo: LUFC

6 - Could have looked the other way instead of booking Anthony, but otherwise it was a relatively straight forward game. Only missed a few minor things. Photo: Catherine Ivill
