Marcelo Bielsa's newly-promoted Whites fell to an 11th defeat of the Premier League season in their latest assignment at the Emirates.

Leeds, though, are still 14 points clear of the dropzone and former Liverpool legend Souness said United's free-flowing and attacking style of play made them his favourite Premier League viewing.

"This is my favourite team to watch this year," said Souness before Sunday's game on Sky Sports.

"Going right back to the first game of the season at Liverpool, you are thinking 'wow - the energy they play with, trying to play the right way, all piling forward.'

"At times it leaves them vulnerable but they are a great watch.

"I just think it's not tippy tappy football, it's not lots of possession in their own half, they try and get it forward at every opportunity.

"Yes you give it away if you try and do that but you will score goals and you will be vulnerable if you are committing people forward.

"But it is an entertainment business and they, for me, have been the no 1 entertainers in our league this year."

Leeds were blitzed in the first half at Arsenal and trailed 3-0 at the break and then went 4-0 down as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang completed his hat-trick two minutes after the break.

United then continued to attack and pulled two goals back through Pascal Struijk and Helder Costa.

"I said at half time this could be 3-3 or 6-0," said Souness after the game.

"We know what Leeds are, they are great entertainers. I could watch them every night of the week if they were playing.

"I think they have been an absolute revelation but they are so open to being counter attacked and they are so open at times in general play because they commit so many people forward.

"The goalkeeper gave Arsenal enormous help in all three goals in the first half and then it's such an uphill climb for Leeds after that."
