Football fans in Leeds have had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their photo taken with the UEFA EURO 2020™ trophy in the city.
Official Sponsor, Hisense brought the trophy to the city on Sunday (June 6).
Taking place at the Currys PC World store on Birstall Retail Park, Leeds, the trophy was available for football-loving fans to come along and take their photos.
Hundreds of fans attended and took their opportunity.
With just a week to go until the tournament begins, fans got a glimpse at the trophy that Europe’s best players will be battling it out for over the next month.
One fan said: “I think this is about as close as we’ll ever get to lifting the trophy!”
Other fans suggested Scotland may be in with a chance this year.
Arun Bhatoye, Marketing Director at Hisense commented: “Fans have been waiting a year for UEFA EURO 2020™ to begin, and to celebrate it kicking off next week, we wanted to bring a piece of the tournament to the fans.
"In addition, we’ve installed a ‘Lucky Chip’ into every one of our TVs giving customers an extra chance of bringing positive results to their team in the next few weeks.”
