Five players extend Leeds United stay, no Jean-Kevin Augustin decision yet
The Whites will kick-off the Championship run-in this weekend.
Leeds United have confirmed five members of Marcelo Bielsa's squad have extended deals until the end of the current campaign - but no decision has been made over striker Jean-Kevin Augustin yet.
The Whites will this weekend restart their quest for Premier League football after a three month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
United travel to south Wales to take on Cardiff City on Sunday lunchtime with the nine game run-in being played behind closed doors amid the worldwide health crisis.
Defender Gaetano Berardi - whose contact runs out at the end of this month - has agreed fresh terms on a deal that will see him remain at the club until the conclusion of the current term.
A trio of loanees have also extended their stay beyond June 30 at Elland Road with Manchester City winger Jack Harrison, Brighton defender Ben White and FC Lorient goalkeeper Illan Meslier agreeing to remain.
Augustin, though, is yet to have an extension to his arrangement triggered by the Whites as he battles for fitness at Thorp Arch with his current deal set to expire at the end of the month.
Helder Costa will also remain at Elland Road with his deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers set to become permanent this summer.
