Marsch made ten changes to his team for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup clash at Wolves in which Jack Harrison was the only player to start who also lined up in last weekend’s 4-3 victory at home to Bournemouth. Marsch then revealed on Friday that Harrison was “questionable” for the Spurs clash due to a muscle strain and the winger is not involved despite travelling with the squad. His place in the side is taken by exciting teenager Gnonto fresh from his three recent outings from the bench.

Keeper Joel Robles, Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Leo Hjelde, Junior Firpo, Mateusz Klich, Darko Gyabi, Joe Gelhardt, Mateo Joseph and Sonny Perkins all came into the side in midweek but all drop out as Illan Meslier, Rasmus Kristensen, Liam Cooper, Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk, Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Crysencio Summerville, Brenden Aaronson and Rodrigo resume their places in the team.

Patrick Bamford, Adam Forshaw, Archie Gray, Luis Sinisterra and also Klich are currently out injured in addition to longer term absentee Stuart Dallas.
