He said Marcelo Bielsa has been a 'revelation' for Leeds United.

Having spotted him on numerous occasions with a coffee cup by his side, Ryan set about creating a South American blend coffee for fans to enjoy.

The coffee was launched on Tuesday to great acclaim on social media.

Ryan, speaking to the YEP, said: "I have always liked coffee, anyone who knows me knows I like a good coffee especially in the morning.

"Over lockdown one I bought myself a bean to cup coffee machine, so instead of buying directly from the supermarket I started looking up independent coffee roasters to try coffee from different regions and blends.

"I found there are so many different styles, tastes and blends that all appeal to different tastes.

"As a huge Leeds United fan I, like many Leeds fans think Marcelo Bielsa has been a revelation for the club and an incredible coach. One thing I spotted was he always has a cup of coffee by his side, so I got in touch with a coffee roaster called 'Rocks Off Coffee' who are based in Macclesfield about creating a coffee in honour of Marcelo Bielsa.

"Marcelo being South American it was important to create a South American blend, which is what we did.

"The taste notes of 'El Loco' coffee are bold, nutty with a sweet after taste, just like the great man himself.

"Once we were happy with the blend we started working on the packaging, the brilliant cartoonist and massive Leeds United fan Tom Sparke was happy to help, Tom created the caricature of Marcelo for the artwork."

Ryan said it was important to support the local community.

The channel has pledged to donate a portion of each sale to the Leeds South and East Food Bank based in LS11.

The coffee is available as whole beans or pre ground.

It can be purchased through the LS11 website.
