Date confirmed for Leeds United's Carabao Cup clash against Hull City

LEEDS United's second round Carabao Cup clash at home to Hull City will take place on Wednesday, September 16.

Leeds were handed a home tie against recently relegated League One outfit Hull in Sunday's second round draw with all games taking place the week beginning Monday, September 14.

The clash will take place four days after United's Premier League opener at Liverpool with a Wednesday 7.45pm kick-off at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's Whites will then take in their first home game of the new top flight campaign three days later against Fuham in a Saturday 3pm kick-off.

The winners of the second round Carabao Cup contest between the Whites and Tigers will face a trip to either West Ham United or Charlton Athletic in the third round with the draw having already taken place for what will be the last 32.
