Klich has taken his fine form over the last two Championship campaigns into the Premier League with the Pole already on two goals for the new campaign having coolly netted from the penalty spot in Saturday's 4-3 win at home to Fulham.

That strike followed the midfielder's fine goal in the previous weekend's 4-3 loss at champions Liverpool which former Whites right-back Mills said rivalled Salah's fine effort for Liverpool in terms of technique.

Klich's precise through ball also set up Patrick Bamford's second goal of the season in Saturday's victory against the Cottagers and Mills says Klich has been a "revelation" since returning to the club in the summer of 2018 under head coach Marcelo Bielsa having been previously shipped out on loan to FC Utrecht by former Whites boss Thomas Christiansen.

“When Bielsa came to Elland Road, he was surplus to requirements," said Mills, speaking on Sky Sports News.

"He was about to get shown the door and then Bielsa said ‘no, I like this player’.

"I think he’s played all but one game since Bielsa’s been there. He’s been sensational.

"You look at his goal last week, the technique that he had, I think the technique is on par with Salah.

"The finish is not quite the same because it doesn’t go in the top corner.

"But to bring it down with the touch that he had and then score, and then the calm penalty, he’s been a revelation at Leeds.”
