Daniel Farke makes one change to Leeds United predicted lineup vs Norwich City despite mounting injury list

Leeds United visit Norwich City this Tuesday and will be without new signings Isaac Schmidt and Manor Solomon, fellow winger Dan James, Austrian international defender Max Wober and club captain Ethan Ampadu as the injuries begin to pile up.

United are expected to name a largely unchanged XI against the Canaries at Carrow Road but will be forced into one potentially significant change in the middle of the park.

Ampadu will sit out the next 10 weeks of Championship action after picking up a lateral collateral knee ligament injury against Coventry last weekend. In his place, Ilia Gruev will reprise his role as the 'deep six' leaving the question of whether Joe Rothwell or Ao Tanaka comes into the side for a prolonged spell.

Daniel Farke threw his support behind Mateo Joseph once more in Monday's pre-match press conference following another goal off the bench from Joel Piroe.

Leeds' defensive options now appear decidedly light after it was revealed Wober would undergo knee surgery on an injury to his meniscus.

Here is the starting line-up we expect Farke to name on Tuesday evening.
