The Whites haven't met the Eagles at Selhurst Park since March 2013, when Steve Morison netted twice for Leeds in a 2-2 draw.

This game, the final Premier League outing for Leeds before the November international break, pits Leeds against a side with an identical results record and 10 points from seven fixtures so far.

Here's the YEP prediction and a look at the key battle.

KEY BATTLE

Pablo Hernandez v the Palace defence

The Spanish magician was not at his best on Monday night and was clearly infuriated by the decision to substitute him. But he's a fierce competitor capable of producing moments that unlock stubborn defences. Palace boast one of those and will likely sit deep, put up a wall and ask Leeds to try and knock it down. What Leeds need from Hernandez is those little touches and passes that take them through the wall, over it or around it. With Rodrigo out, Hernandez is the main man for creativity.

PALACE KEY MAN

Wilfried Zaha

Fresh from one battle with a counter attacking specialist, Leeds United face another one. Zaha will look to do what Jamie Vardy did to the Whites, by providing pace, movement and goals when Palace send the ball forward. Robin Koch and Liam Cooper will both be keen to put in a far better showing in this game and will need to, to keep Zaha quiet and deny Palace an out ball.

GRAHAM SMYTH'S VERDICT

This is another very difficult test for Leeds and could well be a game that doesn't suit them in the way that the Villa game did. Palace will not go attack for attack, they're far more likely to play a similar style to Leicester, speculate as Bielsa would say, and wait for a Leeds error to pounce on. Leeds have got to find solutions and an early goal would be pure gold. If they get it, I can see a win. The longer it goes without a Leeds goal, the more frustrating this game could become. I could see a 1-1 draw, which would be a fine result in London.
