That was a good team move from Leeds, nice to see a full-back assisting a full-back too. Quite a Bielsa goal really, with the ball reaching the byline and being cut low across the area. McCarron arrived in perfect timing and couldn’t miss. Big job on for the 10 men of Palace now.
GOAL! Jenkins with a lovely forward ball for Miller, his cross to the back post finds McGurk and he drills it in for number three. Game over, surely.
74 - That ball from Jenkins really was very good. Miller showed his pace and desire to make sure he got there, just at the byline, and his cross was a good one. Nice composure from McGurk to control, take a touch and find a finish.
80 - Leeds controlling possession well now. Palace still chasing and fighting but the road back to parity is long. An uphill battle from here. A gigantic ask. An unlikely outcome. If the next update is a goal for the hosts I can only apologise.
Klaesson at it again. Another great stop from a long range effort. Tips it over the bar. Gives it the ‘no problems here’ body language that keepers pull out from time to time.
Man of the Match contenders would include Cody Drameh who, barring the penalty he conceded, had a fine game. He was particularly good going forward. Jack Jenkins was steady throughout, some nice defending, some good passing. Little fuss. Cry Summerville had a good first half, Lewis Bate did just fine and Klaesson will be delighted with a win and the stops he made after a difficult first couple of minutes.
Pushed for an individual, it’s Drameh for me.
