After a goalless first half, Crawley struck three times within 21 minutes as Nick Tsaroulla, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe all beat 'keeper Kiko Casilla to progress to the fourth round, despite there being 62 league placings between the two sides.
Graham Smyth, the YEP's chief football writer, hands out the scores.

5 - Lots of running around, not a lot of joy. Asked to play as a striker but Leeds had little presence in attack and he got little service.

4 - Tried to get into the game but Crawley took even greater control of the middle.

5 - Unable to give Leeds the magic they needed. Crawley were very organised and disciplined, marked him well enough.

5 - A few nice passes and touches but in a game that players far more senior and experienced failed to impact, it was always going to be difficult.
17. Peter Bankes (referee)
6 - Missed a penalty when Rodrigo went down, but kept a lid on it when Alioski was simmering and used his yellow card sparingly.
