The Whites ace scored his second Premier League of the season in as many games, also adding an assist for Helder Costa’s second-half finish as Marcelo Biela’s side ran out 4-3 winners against the Cottagers at Elland Road.

“I think he’s a player that a lot of Leeds fans sat on the fence with,” Jenas said on Match of the Day.

“They know that the work rate he brings to the table, but did he have that clinical nature? Bielsa knows what he brings to the table for Leeds and he fits into their system very well.

“Is he clinical enough? That’s a lovely cool and composed finish, that’s two in two games for him. It was a really good, strong performance from Bamford, and actually, a really great start for this season.”
