Leeds United and Leicester City face off on Friday night in one of the biggest clashes of the Championship season. It's first against second and a fascinating tie between two teams who have barely put a foot wrong over recent months.
The Whites have a chance to take a big step towards promotion while setting up a potential title race, while the Foxes can really begin to pull away with a memorable away win at Elland Road. In the meantime, we have put together a combined starting XI of the two teams based on performances so far this season. Take a look below.
7. CM - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Another player who has no right playing at this level. Unplayable at times.
8. LW - Crysencio Summerville
Summerville has been one of the most dangerous wingers in the league this season.
9. RW - Daniel James
Mavididi and Gnonto may have a claim to stake here, given their obvious talent, but Daniel James has the same number of goals as Mavidi (10) and two more assists, while he has started more regularly than his teammate Gnonto.
10. CAM - Georginio Rutter
Rutter has come on leaps and bounds this season. A dangerous player who can play in attacking midfield or up top.
11. CF - Jamie Vardy
Joel Piroe, Kelechi Iheanacho and others may argue, but when it comes down to it, experienced frontman Vardy has a goal average of 0.86 goals per 90 minutes, that is significantly better than Piroe's 0.42 average. Iheanacho hasn't had the best of seasons, and Patson Daka has been very dangerous, but he hasn't played quite enough to compare him fairly with the others, making only 11 league appearances.
