Leeds United suffered another setback on Thursday evening, slumping to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of struggling Leicester City. The Foxes went into the match at the foot of the table, but moved to within one point of Jesse Marsch’s men, who are now just a point clear of the relegation zone.
An first half own goal from Robin Koch and a strike from Harvey Barnes were enough to hand the hosts the victory, and to leave Leeds winless since August 21st. Next up for the Whites is a clash with Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

La Liga outfit Sevilla are in “pole position” to land reported Leeds United, Everton, and Fulham target Ben Brereton Diaz. The Blackburn Rovers striker has emerged as a potential target for a number of Premier League clubs after impressive consistently for the Championship promotion contenders. Leeds United are “unlikely” to win the race to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo. The attacker has been at the centre of speculation from Southampton and Manchester United, who he has admitted to holding talks with over the summer. Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is “disappointed” with his situation after losing his number one spot at Stamford Bridge.
