Championship manager points-per-game: Where Leeds United boss Daniel Farke ranks vs Leicester, Ipswich, Sunderland managers

Daniel Farke guided Leeds United to 90 points over the Championship season but it was not enough to secure automatic promotion.

Leeds United fell just short in their quest for automatic promotion but few would have turned their nose up at this season’s points total. Daniel Farke’s side ended the 46-game regular campaign on 90 points - a tally that would have been good enough for a top-two finish in just about any other season.

Rarely did Farke pay attention to the table itself but the German had his own markers for what automatic promotion would look like, the most often mentioned one being points per game. Leeds were always aiming to be around the two points-per-game mark this season but finished just shy on 1.96 in the end.
