The Whites, without Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, looked a pale imitation of themselves in the 2-0 defeat.

. Illan Meslier - 7
Little he could do about either goal. Didn't do a lot wrong all game. Distribution was good for the most part.

. Luke Ayling - 6
Unable to drive Leeds forward in the way he can do. Lacked accuracy in his work in the opposition half. Given a hard time by Dan Burn, physically.

. Diego Llorente - 6
Less assured defensively than he has been in recent weeks. Didn't have as much of an impact with the ball.

. Pascal Struijk - 6
Failed to hit the levels he has reached this season but did make important defensive interventions. Well beaten by Welbeck for the second goal however.

. Robin Koch - 5
Made a bright start in the Kalvin Phillips role but faded as the game went on and lacked impact in any sense.

. Stuart Dallas - 5
Not at the races. Lacked the tidiness that has become his trademark on the ball. Couldn't cause Brighton problems in any position he played.
