'Ben White would never': Leeds United fans react to Brentford defender's error against Swansea City
Leeds United fans have been quick to react on social media after ex-defender Pontus Jansson’s mistake for Bentford against Swansea in the play-off semi-final second leg.
Rhian Brewster dragged Swansea back into the contest with 12 minutes remaining, capitalising on a bizarre clearance from Jansson and chipping home over goalkeeper David Raya.
However, the visitors were unable to find a second goal which would have forced extra-time and Jansson’s side were able to hold on to book their place at Wembley.

@indianasc0nes: “Jansson giving away a pen in Brentford’s play-off game. Ben White would never.”
@Oli_LUFC_: “Yet Some Leeds fans still like Jansson.”
@FalseFMatt: “Really not a fan of Pontus Jansson pointing the finger at his teammates after making that error. As the club captain, you need to stand up and take responsibility.”
@T_Owen1875: “This is purely an assumption but Pontus Jansson doesn’t exactly come across as the nicest of blokes. We’ve all played with someone equally as annoying at 5-a-side.”
@barney___21: “Let’s be honest we’ve all loved Jannson when he came to the club we didn’t have that player we admired because we were used to gross. Jansson class on his day but never used the side before self and Bielsa saw this. Not knocking his football but it’s his personality #lufc.”
@pmak27: “Does anyone else watch Jansson now and think perhaps we overrated him. Don’t get me wrong was great for us but maybe we got the right price for him?”
