Here, we round-up the winners and losers from an action-packed New Year's Day fixture list in the second-tier. Click through the pages to see who shone and struggled:
7. L: Fulham
The Cottagers missed the opportunity to shorten the gap on the automatic promotion places to seven points after losing to Reading 2-1 at home. Scott Parker was not a happy man and certainly pulled no punches on his players.
8. W: Nottingham Forest
Sabri Lamouchis side recorded their third straight win following a 3-2 victory against Blackburn to put them within nine points of the top two with a game in hand. Are Forest ones to watch out for with key signings tipped to be finalised in January?
9. L: Kiko Casilla (Leeds United)
Casilla was singled out for criticism for his performances over the festive period by Noel Whelan, claiming he has made schoolboy errors when he expects much more from an ex-Real Madrid goalkeeper.
10. W: Marcelo Bielsa and Slaven Bilic
Both bosses did not let their competitive nature get in the way as Bielsa labelled Bilic a great manager while the Croatian says it is a privilege to compete alongside the unbelievable Leeds head coach.
