Marcelo Bielsa’s men triumphed by a single Raphinha goal over Carlo Ancelotti’s side, with England manager Gareth Southgate watching on from the stands.

The Three Lions boss was likely casting his eye over Elland Road star Kalvin Phillips - who recently broke into the squad – and Everton’s Jordan Pickford.

Both Bamford and Harrison have been in fine form for the Whites so far this campaign, with Leeds sitting comfortably in 11th.

The Yorkshire club have bagged 14 points from their opening 10 Premier League games.
