Barry Douglas sends classy message to Leeds United fans after Elland Road release

The 31-year-old left-back made the move from West Yorkshire to Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan last summer, which effectively brought his stay with the Whites to a close.
Douglas - who made a £3m switch to LS11 from Wolves in the summer of 2018 - struggled to earn a regular starting berth under head coach Marcelo Bielsa during his spell and will see his contract officially expire next month.

Douglas will now hit the free agent market after his time at Ewood Park in the Championship but has said a final goodbye to the club and Whites fans on social media.
"Now my Leeds exit has been made official just want to thank all the fans for the kind messages," Douglas wrote on his official Twitter account.
"Leeds United is a very special club and I wish everyone associated with the club nothing but continued success I will be watching as a fan from now on and enjoying the journey."
