A strong Leeds squad

Well then... that’s stronger than we were expected for Leeds United this evening.

Cody Drameh is handed a full debut by Marcelo Bielsa at right-back but other than that is is a host of senior players at the Emirates.

Kalvin Phillips comes back into midfielder alongside Adam Forshaw. Rodrigo leads the line. Tyler Roberts behind with Jack Harrison and Dan James out wide.

Pascal Struijk and Diego Llorente are the centre-back pairing with Stuart Dallas - who is skipper tonight - on the left side of defence.

Illand Meslier, as always, starts in goal.

Two familiar Arsenal faces

Ben Whites and Eddie Nketiah feature for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal this evening in what is a strong line-up for the hosts.

The pair are two familiar faces to Leeds, having spent time on loan at Elland Road a couple of seasons ago.

Leeds arriving earlier on

A reminder of tonight’s teams

Arsenal XI: Leno, Cedric, White, Holding, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Nketiah

Leeds XI: Meslier, Drameh, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas, Phillips, Forshaw, James, Roberts, Harrison, Rodrgio.

Both sides back in from their pre-match warm-up routines... the Emirates is starting to fill up now. 5,000 Leeds fans behind the goal to the right of us. We’re all set for kick-off at 7.45pm. We’ll have updates here.

We’re awaiting the teams

All the pre-match duties are done. We’re not just waiting for the teams to emerge here in the capital... we’ll have updates throughout the night right here so stay tuned.

A final word from Bielsa

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa tells Sky Sports: “Usually we play with four players who attack decisively and today we do that as well.

“Joe Gelhardt came on in the last game, unbalanced it and that is not simple to do. To have done so increases his chances of participating for frequently.”
