Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani says the club are looking into the current situation surrounding season ticket renewals.

The Whites have seen the current campaign put on hold amid the global coronavirus outbreak with football suspended in England until April 30 at the earliest.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are in pole position to end a 16-year absence from the Premier League as they sit top of the Championship table with nine games to go.

European football's governing body UEFA has committed to finishing the season and has postponed this summer's Euro 2020 tournament in a bid to help domestic leagues reach a conclusion.

United could yet see their remaining matches run into late summer with doubts being cast over when the 2020/21 campaign could begin during the pandemic.

Leeds currently have in excess of 23,000 season ticket holders at Elland Road with the renewal deadline of March 27 fast approaching amid the growing uncertainty surrounding the game.

United's owner, though, says the club's chief executive Angus Kinnear is working on the issue and has promised some sort of resolution.

Radrizzani tweeted: "Angus Kinnear is on the season ticket renewal case. The club management understands the difficulties of this period and will work out something."

Leeds United memberships are also still on sale during the current hiatus across the Premier League and EFL.
