The 28-year-old Finnish international is looking forward to a 'new league' and 'new challenge' according to Rennes' official website, having signed a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 side.
Rennes finished tenth in France's top flight last season and have a track record of appearing in European competition over the past couple of decades. Kamara says the club's ambition convinced him to swap Elland Road for the Brittany club.

"I hope my experience will help to have the best possible season. I see that there are plenty of assets at Stade Rennais F.C. to succeed."
To Whites supporters, Kamara posted on social media the following message: "I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to @LUFC for the chance to represent this amazing club. It’s been a short journey but definitely one that I will remember for the rest of my life. To the staff, my team mates and of course the fans, I wish you all the best! MOT."
Kamara's return to English football following a spell in Scotland with Dundee and Rangers proved short-lived but almost resulted in promotion to the Premier League with Leeds. He will now compete at the top level in France, where he will face off against former teammate Charlie Cresswell who recently joined Toulouse on a permanent deal.
