Ajax 4-0 Leeds United - recap: Whites well beaten as Amsterdam friendly double-header comes to close
The Whites have made a flying visit to the Netherlands as part of the club's final preparations for the upcoming 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
A Leeds XI - watched by head coach Marcelo Bielsa and owner Andrea Radrizzani - took on Ajax's youngsters at the De Toekomst training complex this afternoon.

Hide AdUnited fell to a 3-1 defeat against their hosts earlier today and will now face the senior side this evening with kick-off set for 7.15pm UK time.

7. Blind lifts a ball over the Leeds defence for Klaassen but he can’t quite gather in the box. Meslier dives on the loose ball.

8. Leeds fall asleep at a corner and Ajax take it quickly. United snuff out the attack and now clear the second corner.

11. Ajax have started the better. They’re pressing high and pushing Leeds into mistakes. United just trying to slow things down a tad now. Shackleton tries to release Raphinha but it’s cleared.

12. SAVE! Koch sees space open up and he shoots low from distance. Forces a good save from Pasveer down to his left.
Leeds defend well
15. Ajax come down the left and deliver. It’s headed away by Struijk. Koch then shields it on the edge of the box as Leeds regain possession.

17. Dallas with a ball over the top. Bamford gets onto it and brings it down but is pushed off the ball before he can shoot.
Raphinha delivers
19. It’s a poor ball over on the far side, though. He tries to whip it into the area but it’s over everyone and out of play.
Meslier out to collect
20. Tadic is lurking behind Shackleton as a ball comes through. He leaves it and Meslier races out to the edge of the area to halt the chance. Good reading of the game from the goalkeeper.
