Adam Forshaw has revealed his belief that team-mate Jack Harrison sets the perfect example for the rest of the Leeds United squad.

The Whites have taken 10 points from their opening eight Premier League games this season following promotion from the Championship in the summer.

Marcelo Bielsa's men have impressed and delighted onlookers with their attacking brand of football since making the step up into the top flight.

Leeds, though, will be looking to get back to winning ways against Arsenal this weekend following defeats to Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

Forshaw, who remains on the injury comeback trail, has been sidelined for over a year with a problematic hip injury that required surgery in Colorado last February.

The midfielder harbours hopes of a return to on-field action soon, but says motivation in the United squad to battle through what has been a tough period is easy to come by.

Forshaw picked out Manchester City loanee Harrison - who is spending his third season at Elland Road - as someone who sets an example at Thorp Arch, along with fan favourite Gaetano Berardi.

Harrison has become a regular starter at the club under Bielsa, with the winger bagging one goal and two assists in seven Premier League outings this term.

"Jack Harrison jumps out at me straight away," Forshaw said over which player provides most motivation within the Leeds squad.

"As soon as you've asked me the question, Jack Harrison is probably the first one. He doesn't leave a stone unturned I don't think. He works his socks off, always doing extra in the gym.

"He's always fit and I feel like he's really reaping the rewards now. He's done really well and started the season great.

"I'm so pleased for him. I'd say I look at Jack a lot and probably Berra [Gaetano Berardi] as well. He has a brilliant attitude. He's obviously had a bad injury, similar to me.

"He's missing out on a really good time in the Premier League at the moment and he's always really good and bubbly around the place."
