The third-placed Royals have won six of their last seven league games yet Jaap Stam’s men are as big as 11-4 with BetVictor to triumph at Elland Road.

The draw is a best-priced 5-2 with Betfair with sixth-placed Leeds as short as 11-10 with plenty of firms to enhance a strong recent record at home.

The Whites have lost just one of their last nine games at Elland Road and that defeat came to leaders Newcastle United - with six of those last nine games resulting in a home victory.

United’s Chris Wood is a general 4-1 favourite to score first with Leeds threats making up the first four favourites in that particular betting market.

Marcus Antonsson is 13-2 second favourite despite being very unlikely to start, with no 10 Kemar Roofe decent odds at 7-1 - the same price as Souleymane Doukara.

For Reading, Dominic Samuel is 8-1 to net first, the same price as Yann Kermorgant.

Top scorer Gareth McCleary is next in the list at 21-2 though no goalscorer is only 17-2.

Leeds-wise, Hadi Sacko and Stuart Dallas are both 11-1 to net first, with Matt Grimes 14-1 and Charlie Taylor 18s.

Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira are both 20s, with Kyle Bartley 22s and Liam Bridcutt 25s.

Pontus Jansson is a 33-1 shot, with Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper both 40-1.

A 1-1 draw is actually rated the most ‘likely’ scoreline at 6-1, just ahead of a 1-0 Leeds win at 13-2.
