Key Battle - Liam Bridcutt v Jamie Paterson

Bridcutt did a brilliant job on Blackburn’s midfield last weekend, hassling them to the point where Rovers could not get a steady foot on the ball. Huddersfield might well play Paterson in the hole behind Nahki Wells and keeping order in that area will give Leeds a great chance of recording a fourth straight win. Huddersfield aren’t short of goals. They’re simply suffering from an inability to keep them out, especially away from home.

Key Man - Nahki Wells

Huddersfield invested heavily by their standards in Wells and his second full season is promising to be better than his first. The former Bradford City striker scored his 15th goal of the term in a 3-1 win over Reading this month and he’ll have his eye on the 20-mark now. Town would have been in big trouble without him but Wells’ prolific form should keep them up.

“It would be just like Leeds, after three straight wins, to run aground at Elland Road on Saturday but Steve Evans has a few factors in his favour - form, confidence and the gradual return of key players from injury. Blackburn found United a handful when Leeds forced the pace at Ewood Park and that’s the way Evans’ side need to play again. On paper this is a fixture which United should win.”
