Leeds United under-18s: Whites host Charlton in play-off showdown at Thorp Arch

Leeds United under-18s host Charlton Athletic on Saturday (11am) at Thorp Arch in the professional development league play-offs.

Mark Jackson's side claimed the northern title last weekend after defeating Bolton Wanderers 1-0 to leapfrog them to the top of the pile and secure home advantage in the one off play-off game.

United now host Charlton, who came runners up in the southern division, with the winner facing Crystal Palace in the final who toppled Wanderers 3-1 on Friday afternoon.

The Whites have been on a stunning run of form winning their last eight games in a row and haven't lost a match since February. Leeds though came unstuck against the Addicks 3-2 on the opening day of the season last August.

Ryan Edmondson is expected to miss the clash as he travels with the first-team to Carrow Road after being sent off against Bolton last week.
