Taylor formally asked for a transfer request last month after Whites owner Massimo Cellino accused the left back of refusing to enter into talks about a new deal.
A whole host of Premier League clubs are said to be interested in securing the young defender’s services but as of lunch-time on transfer deadline day there was little sign of Taylor moving on from Elland Road.

Bournemouth, Liverpool, Burnley, Stoke City and Middlesbrough are also believed to be interested but Whites chairman Massimo Cellino has previously stated that Taylor will not be allowed to move on until his current contract runs out next summer.
Whites head coach Garry Monk has also insisted that Taylor will still be a Leeds player after the close of this summer’s FIFA transfer window at 11pm this evening.

Hide AdA late, big-money bid could lead to United having a rethink but all indications on Wednesday lunch-time were that Taylor would remain a Whites player, at least until the re-opening of the January transfer window.

The defender may presently command a transfer fee in the region of £8m but the left-back’s valuation would drop considerably by January as the 22-year-old’s contract runs closer to expiring.
