@ChrisHWheeler. We’ve bought a 19 year old [Tyler Roberts] with potential, limited L1 track record who only had 6 months left on contract for £2.5m. Don’t expect too much of him to score hat full of goals needed to get us top 6 as we have to nurture this potential & not drive him back to u23s.

@harryw87. For years us #lufc fans have been told “we are building for next year”, etc. But I genuinely do think we are this time. We are bringing in good young players, loyalty to our manager...there’s a foundation being laid here. We’ve got a good one in @andrearadri.

@whiteanswers. Well, that was a pretty decent window. If we’d been on a winning run we’d all be buzzing. The problem is we’re in a bit of a dip, so morale is very low, despite the signings. We could’ve signed Messi and we’d still be depressed after witnessing that Hull game.

@ellandduck. £8m spent, experience added in midfield and defence, a highly promising forward signed, young talent brought in and no major departures. You know what, I’ll happily take that, and anyone who thinks this doesn’t represent progress is deluding themselves. #lufc.

@TalkLeedsUnited. People forget that Andrea Radrizzani, above, has a FIVE year plan. Not instant promotion. Signing highly rated 19-20 year olds fits with that strategy. Give them a couple of years and...#lufc.

@colrad78. I seem to remember Thomas Christiansen stating his remit was to improve on last season. If at the very least we don’t get anywhere close to making the play-offs , I would suggest he will more and likely be replaced. That’s football these days. #lufc.

@LUSCgriffinLUFC. Very best wishes @eoghan_stokes9, hope you go on to live your dream. Please take it easy on #lufc when you return...
