Antonsson rounded off his treble with a header from Alex Mowatt’s 90th-minute cross, sealing a 3-2 win at the John Smith’s Stadium yesterday.

The Swedish striker was given a run-out after more than two months without a league start for Leeds’ first team and the clash at Huddersfield saw winger Dallas make his comeback from a calf strain.

Dallas, who was an unused substitute during yesterday’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United at Elland Road, completed 67 minutes in a line-up which featured Marco Silvestri, Matt Grimes and Toumani Diagouraga.

Left-back Tyler Denton was also included after overcoming an ankle injury.

Antonsson opened the scoring on four minutes but Town fought back to take a 2-1 lead before the forward’s late double sealed victory for a Leeds side who were joint bottom of their Under-23 league ahead of kick-off.
