Leeds Sunday League: East End Park's point fails to reel in leaders

The Clubmen had Lee Fowler (2), Terry Tomlinson and Paul Sykes scoring with the Farnley reply coming from Michael Doyle, Kearan Foster, Deacon James and Gareth Lee.

East Leeds Celtic dropped down from top spot after they were beaten by Kirkstall Crusaders, who maintained their 100 per cent record from the five games played. Crusaders can thank former Halton Moor striker Mark Whittam as he netted a hat-trick in their 4-0 victory. Ash Thompson netted the other goal.

In a nine-goal thriller at Stanningley park it was the visitors West Leeds Armley that went away 6-3 winners over Halfway House Bramley. Craig Mullanay was the star for the winners as he netted four times to go with efforts from Kayne Hauge and Shane Collins. Jordan Heyes (2) and Alex Waters were the Halfway marksmen.

The Hope Leeds United Members Cup is for teams from both Divisions and the top of the Premier Division.

Chapeltown Fforde Grene made a visit to the team at the foot of the Championship Division. Things went to form with Chapeltown running out 8-2 winners to stay on course for a treble. They had goals from Leon Ruddock (3), Keiron Goodison (2), Rhys Sharry, Dave Allanson and Kane Blair.

The consolation goals for Woodcock came from Luke Henderson and Chido Chaks.
