Key Battle - Daryl Murphy v Giuseppe Bellusci
Bellusci is playing as well for Leeds as he ever has and his performance against Rotherham on Saturday was worth another start on Tuesday night.
It goes without saying that whoever plays in the centre of defence will have the crucial task of snuffing out Murphy.
The striker has been far less prolific this season than he was last year but he’s scored seven times since the start of November.
Key Man - Ryan Fraser
The winger moved to Portman Road on a year-long loan from Bournemouth and he caused Leeds no end of problems at Elland Road in September.
His own campaign has been interrupted by a knee injury but he return to full fitness last month and kept Ipswich in the FA Cup with a late goal against Portsmouth on Saturday.
The 21-year-old loves to run riot.
Last time at Portman Road:
Saturday, December 6, 2014
Ipswich Town 4 Leeds United 1
Goals: Ipswich - Murphy 12, 45, McGoldrick 26pen, Berra 48. Leeds - Antenucci 4.
Phil Hay’s Verdict:
Leeds United are straying into must-win territory here. At the very least, they cannot afford to come away from Portman Road with anything less than a draw or the gap to sixth place will be looking more like 12 points. Ipswich are in a purple patch after five wins from seven games but United’s form is not shabby either. This could easily go either way.
Home win - 19/20
Draw - 13/5
Away win - 18/5
