Premier League newcomers Brentford are close to signing Christian Eriksen on a six-month contract, according to Sky Sports.

Traoré has become the North London side’s number 1 target this transfer window and it is expected that the winger will become the first signing made under Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.

Conte sees Traoré slotting in at right wing-back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and landing the 25-year-old’s signature could push Spurs right-back Matt Doherty out of the club.
