Former footballer David Ginola 'suffers cardiac arrest,' claim reports
Former Newcastle United and PSG player David Ginola has suffered a cardiac arrest, according to French news sources.
The 49-year-old is said to be in a stable condition after the medical emergency in Mandelieu, near Nice, at about 4.30pm local time.
It is believed Ginola was taking part in a golf competition at the Mapauto Golf Cup.
A medical helicopter is said to have been scrambled, and airlifted him to Centre Hospitalier Princesse-Grace de Monaco, according to the local media.
