Key battle - Anthony Knockaert v Charlie Taylor

Leeds have been linked with Knockaert several times over the years and the winger is a good signing at Championship level. Albion needed a bit of inspiration at the turn of the year and with Knockaert on board, they have come through a sticky patch to stay right in the hunt for automatic promotion. The 24-year-old has been playing on the right wing and is likely to face off against Taylor on Monday.

Unusually, Fulham got a fair amount of joy out of Taylor last Tuesday.

Key man - Tomer Hemed

Hemed is one goal away from his 10th of the season and he had a fine night at Bristol City in Albion’s last match, laying on two goals and claiming one in an easy 4-0 victory.

Brighton are relatively free-scoring and between Hemed, Bobby Zamora and Jamie Murphy - a player who United took an interest in last summer - they are producing enough to stay in business near the top of the Championship.

Last time at The Amex:

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

Brighton 2 Leeds 0

Goals: Brighton - Baldock 26, Calderon 63.

Phil Hay’s verdict:

Brighton are exceptionally strong at The Amex, both in terms of their results and their defensive record. Only three teams have won there this season - all of them during Albion’s slump around Christmas - and only two others have claimed a point. It is not that Chris Hughton’s side are infallible but outscoring them on the south coast is a big challenge and Leeds don’t thrive in that department. This has the makings of a tough night.

Match Odds:

Home win - 10/11

Draw - 28/11

Away win - 18/5
