Key Battle - Harlee Dean v Chris Wood

Brentford are in the habit of scoring goals but their defence gives away just as many - 40 so far in Championship fixtures. Leeds have missed Chris Wood, as his impact at Elland Road on Saturday showed, and it seems certain that he will start at Griffin Park. If players around him can put pressure on Brentford’s backline, Wood should have his chances to find the net.

Key Man - Alan Judge

The best player on the pitch when Leeds and Brentford drew 1-1 at Elland Road in September and someone who is interesting a number of clubs, including Burnley. Judge is an out-and-out attacker who likes to get at teams and he’s come up with 12 goals in 26 league games. Those are seriously impressive numbers. Expect him to play at number 10 this evening.

Brentford are a highly unpredictable side. The club have won 11 games, lost 11 games and they ended a three-match losing streak by producing a fine victory at Preston on Saturday. Leeds must defend well tonight because Brentford are very useful going forward but their weak defensive record makes Griffin Park a prime location for an away win. A good debut from Toumani Diagouraga and the return of Chris Wood could open the door to that result.
